Shhh Dyso don't remind them how shit they are they might demand change and dare I say it improvement.piedys wrote:I really loved how conditioned their supporters have become to losing, that they post there with little emotion about the defeats.Piesnchess wrote:Jezza wrote: My sentiments exactly.
Greetings Jezza, welcome to another season of bluebellie pain, pain, and angst, another spoon for them, and by golly, haven't they got it in for dollar daisy now, boy, we really screwed them on that one. Yes, the old man did a splendid job torpedoing this vile mob, for years and years now, and we owe him a debt of gratitude. as for boy Bolton, the poor bastard now there, I give him this season, and he will go, he will cop the flak for another spoon. Keep up the good work mate, I can see you posting at least another eighteen defeats for this rabble, this season.
Just let the dead dog lay at the bottom of the table to be our kicking post until further notice

I attended the match between Melbourne and Carlton today and it was a pleasure to see Carlton succumb to another defeat!
TankingCarlton and BigFooty...
TankingCarlton and BigFooty...
Hugely disappointed in our senior players.
Bad turnovers from Murph and Smedts led to goals.
Kills you every time as does butchering it going inside fwd 50.
I get scared when we have the ball. When you get it 250 times a games that's alot of stress.
Our disposal, decision making etc, lost it for us alot more so than Melbourne won it.
I hope by the end of the year Casboult, Armfield, Thomas and White have been replaced. I think the whole side shudders when they have the ball.
Lots of senior guy were pretty junk today.
Disappointed in some of the senior players and supposedly leaders.
Saw some pretty poor efforts from the senior players
Tough loss......until we learn to better deliver in the forward line, we are going to have more of these close losses
Armfields time has to be up. No where near it. Honest trier, good bloke, just isnt up to it
What do we do with Docherty? What has happened to him? He's just a turnover machine now. So disappointing.
Senior players killed us in the last quarter.
I said it earlier and I'll say it again. Our leaders made mistakes a when we needed them most. Disappointing
We're playing very flat unattractive footy this year. Bit concerning given it is round 2.
What's up (with) Doc this year? He's lost the plot.
Setanta was a better forward option than Levi.
Too many bad turnovers at crucial stages cost us the game.
Frustrating.
Same players keep making same mistakes.
Unfortunately we don't have much of a choice at the moment.
Just going to have to wear it for a little while longer.
We don't have a lot of quality players with experience, when the few that we do have underperform, it's incredibly disappointing.
I don't get Gibbs sometimes. Sometimes he'll be the hard running, silky ball user we expect, then other times (like today) he goes all Mitch Robinson with the wild kicks around the corner, sans the Mitch aggression, and just otherwise make ridiculously bad decisions.
Murphy was a very disappointing today.
You're not going to win many games of footy only kicking 64points
44 tackles for me just simply isnt enough. Its not about talent. Its a mindset. We shutdown Melbournes space today which was good but the tackle count is something I always rate.
I'm sorry but the coach owns this loss.
i suppose we got our weekly "drop the open easy" mark option from Sam Rowe
Well that is it for me will not watch another game
until Armfield,White ,Rowe,Casbolt and Thomas are gone
All they are doing is holding back the development of our
younger players come on BB start playing them
I find it hard to be positive about that game. Years of mediocrity have produced a team that thinks giving the opposition a scare is as good as beating them. You could tell in the first minutes of the last quarter that we didn't want to take the game on, we just wanted to slow down and hold on to respectability. No hunger, no fury, just a tanking club happy with the plucky underdog tag.
MM era continues to hurt
Garlett v good for the dees .. match winning tackle & goal
Thomas [snip] for the second week in a row !!
Stupid easy skill errors cost us
Casboult was horrible. He played the worst game I can remember. Simply horrible.
Pissed off that Jeff kicked 3 goals and got a great tackle
Thanks Mick
Pissed off at Jeff or at our former management for putting him in the too hard basket and showing him the door? We gave up on him way too quickly.
Very solemn journey on the tram home.
I'm sure the knives will be out for the usual suspects but I was particularly disappointed in senior players who should know better like Murphy, Gibbs and Docherty. Melbourne had the better side but we choked.
Armfield and Casboult gotta go, absolute momentum killers every time they went near it.
The post match presser is the angriest I've seen Bolton. Clearly thinks we should have won that one.

Omg seriously they have shit left over GWS players who couldn't get a game there and there draft picks aren't world beaters by any measure.Big T wrote:Sadly they have better youngsters than us.
Cripps is a gun but they have little outside him under 25
They might have a few good kids but there not in the same class as some of ours mark my words

Port just reamed the scum relentlessly making this old pie smile
Seriously I never get tired watching them get thrashed
It must be like watching a horror movie on continuous loop for Bolton. Bet his assistant role at th Hawks is looking very good right now
Maybe he can go back to the Hawks and Clarkson to us and the scum to Antartica and play ice hole fishing against polar bears

He should stay well away from the Pies. Especially the 4'n'20 variety!
