Damian Barrett wrote:Yeah. Guys. It appears that Mason Cox has spoken to Collingwood about a move back home and it seems the San Antonio Spurs would be his preferred destination. Although it's believed that the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks may also enter discussions.
I'm thinking straight swap for Patty Mills.

With Lacy and Starks missing for tomorrow's game, look for him playing at running back for the Cheeseheads.

Time to convert the altitude room into a Yank Tank: Fast food (burgers, french fries, hotdogs), Fox News and the NBA/NFL on the TV.

We've got to keep the lad!

For a minute there, I thought you were lying until I checked it myself to make sure.

Would I lie to you?

The big fella is back in his home town of Austin right now. I follow him on instagram. Let's hope 2017 is gunna be massive for him. There are plenty on here who will be doubters but they also couldn't have dreamt what he'd achieve in the season just gone.

Expectations for Mason were zero in 2016, so even getting a game was an over achievement.

In 2017, Mason is expected to play 22 games, kick goals and assist in the ruck. That's a sizeable increase in expectations...hence the concern / doubt.

Not at all ;)

I share your sentiment that I hope Mason can continue to develop into a handy player for us. I never thought he would play a game, let alone do well as he did in 2016 for someone who's had less exposure to the game than all his teammates around him.
