He is the closest thing we've had to Leigh Brown since he retired.

I never realized to yesterday that Leigh Brown went for pick 5 in the 1999 draft.
The same year we got Fraser.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

I think Mason has a bit more upside than the baddest man in town, thing with Leroy is he was a very good KB, but our defence was settled in those days so he only pinched hit, all the other 'Leroy' replacements only played fwd.

There's definitely something special about him. To start playing footy in 2015 and now playing AFL is truly remarkable.

The things I love are the opposition worry about him due his size and give away free kicks. He is obviously very smart, and like to think he has a bit of toughness about him. I mean Darcy is a big boy, stepped fully on his hand. Mason went back and kicked the goal.

His hand instantly become swollen and looked broken, please don't let it be. We need some luck. Can't wait to see how far this Texan can take his AFL career with the Pies.

One game this year he had 51 hitouts in the reserves... so yeah I reckon the Paul Salmon comparisons are spot on.

The man is on the brink of stardom.

At this rate of improvement, the Cox/Moore forward set up will scare the bejeezus out of defences.

Both super tall and mobile. Both can take contested pack marks. Both are excellent below their knees for big guys with excellent handball distribution. Both are beautiful kicks at goal.

I like what I see.

If Cox gets a jump at it a defender has 2 options, 1: stab him 2: prey he drops it.

Darcy could've easily rolled his ankle landing on Masons hand, but if you look at the vision in slow motion, you can see Mason rolled his hand inwards to prevent it.
