Confirmed also on the AFL website although no details on draft picks traded along with players.

I am rapt in this news. I think Howe will play better at Collingwood than he did at Melbourne but even if he plays no better than he did with the Dees that still should add bite to the forward line. Surely adding Howe to Cloke, Moore, Elliott, and occasionally Reid or Grundy/Witts will mean that Jesse White will spend the last year of his contract playing VFL. Please.

The Age saying the same thing. Two sources.
We all know it's gonna happen, let's just wait till it does.
Otherwise Welcone to Collingwood Adam Treloar
Sure, but it's fun being premature

"....High flying Melbourne forward Jeremy Howe has finally been traded to Collingwood after a four-way deal was completed on Monday.
Howe will join the Magpies and Melbourne's Jimmy Toumpas will move to Port Adelaide. Collingwood's Ben Kennedy will shift to the Demons and Magpie Paul Seedsman will move to Adelaide under the deal.
A number of complicated exchanges of draft picks was also involved to balance out the trade for the Demons, Power and Magpies".

Exactly. It's not done yet. Paperwork not lodged. Deal is "imminent" -

On this logic we might as well start a "Welcome to Collingwood Adam Treloar" thread because we know it's going to happen sometime soon.

Close it down until we have confirmation.

Four-way trade details...
Melb: Kennedy, 29 (PA), 50 (PA)
Coll: Howe, 68 (PA)
Port: Toumpas, 32 (Adel)
Adel: Seedsman

So we lose Seedsman and Kennedy for Howe and 68 .., hmm digesting.

It'll be fun at Melbourne next year with Kennedy and Kennedy-Harris competing for the same position (which would have been "sub" if the rules hadn't been changed recently).

So we get Howe and pick 68 for Kennedy & Seedsman. Thought we might have done better. Pick 68 won't even be used.
After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing!
