May he replicate the forward impact of another strong marking former Magpie Taswegian HF recruit ... Douglas Barwick.

At present this system exists due all involved (players/clubs) agreeing to abide by it. It just takes one person. One players took down the entire transfer system in world football (Bossman) in the early 90's, similar this could happen here if someone decides to challenge.

This trade will happen (if the player involved is satisfied), just like Beams deal happened, just like the Tippet deal happened and countless other deals.
That was my point, Makri. Precisely because it just takes one person, if Howe threatened to challenge under restraint of trade, the AFL would place Melbourne under enormous pressure to transfer Howe to Collingwood rather than risk losing their whole player transfer system in a negative court ruling.

Ten years before Bossman it only took one club president, Lindsay Fox, to bring down the entire zoning system, which had existed since 1915. For the preceding decade the VFL Clubs had an agreement to keep all player movements out of court. Then St Kilda president Fox broke ranks and backed Silvio Foschini and Paul Morwood in their attempts to move from Sydney to St Kilda. As you said Makri, it only takes one person.
Galbally seems to have an itchy trigger finger when it comes to this issue. He was backing Tippet and was dying to get to court over the issue only for an agreement to be reached at the 11th hour.
Which Galbally?

I think the TSL is probably his level.
How did he go down there in the Finals ?
Maybe he is a big-game specialist
Despite the poor crowds the TSL isn't really that bad, AFL Tasmania has made a meal of things of course, but the states talent isn't really that bad. Some haven't really made the big jump to the AFL as some had hoped but a few have. Tim Mohr seemed to be fine for GWS, Lachie Weller, Mav Weller, Aaron Hall have been good for their sides.

During his tenure at Hobart he didn't play finals, as Hobart were one of the weaker sides in the competition before they were forced out in a hostile merger that went wrong.

However, Howe played some good games during a lean period for the Tigers, against some of the better sides he always managed a couple of goals and a good mark. He was pretty good at junior level, clubs around the southern region were quite interest in him.

It was said he was forced to leave Dodges Ferry to even have a chance of going to the AFL, or playing for the Mariners. He did fine stepping up from the SFL which is below the TSL and did well in the state league.
Thank you very much for the information.

So he did ok in the first league for a poor performing club, having done ok and another poor performing club in the 2nd division, having been a pretty good junior.

No wonder Bucks loves him and has some thoughts on his game.
My own thoughts and those of anyone not completely unskilled in talent identification would be:
'Ship the hell off until u become any Bloody good'.

I mean seriously if this wasn't so important it would be a joke.
The whole Bali thing makes it just comical.

Will be playing 2s in 2017 under a new coach.
Take it to the bank.
Not you again
There is Collingwood and then the rest.

Played alright for the Tassie Mariners, Dodges Ferry were a pretty strong team around the time he left for Hobart. I couldn't tell you how he performed for them, since there were a lot of teams that wanted him join them before he went to Hobart I assume he wasn't no mug for Dodges.

I will see if I can find someone at Shark Park that can give me some finals info on him, I can only comment on his TSL career which had a lot of highlights with top performances against older bulky men.

Unlike Billy Morrison he wasn't playing against very weak sides, and didn't boot 12 goals against them and wasnt labeled the next Jonathan Brown.

As for the Bali thing, since he was there, and the Pies were there why not see him and have a talk? Why they want him at the club, well I am sure you can go on Twitter and ask Buckley.

I am not talking him up or down, just going by my observation of how he progressed in the State League during his tenure there.

And if it doesn't turn out that way? What do we get in return? Seeing as we can take it to the bank?

I know! How about you shove off for good? I mean if you're so certain of it happening why not stake you're future at Nicks? What have you got to lose right?
