Grasping at straws?
Just trying out different options - thinking beyond the square. Maybe it will work out may be not. Doesn't work against the clubs interests. Good luck to the kid though although he could do with some peptides.

The only positive WPT is that he won't be part of the salary cap. My view and you will disagree; is that it's merely a publicity gimmick/stunt driven by the spin doctors at the Collingwood Corporation HQ to deflect attention from a year of failure. The lack of physical presence from the current squad is glaringly obvious so what do we do? Pick up another skinny bean pole who when tackled will likely snap in half.
And I should have wrote clutching instead of grasping, apologies for that.

I agree about the notion of spin doctors but I reckon it doesn't apply as much here.Culprit wrote:The only positive WPT is that he won't be part of the salary cap. The spin doctoring was part of the good process & event that was held the other day. Buck's presentation etc, Davronen's stats' spin etc.
If an overseas player does really well for another team then we'd be negligent not to try out overseas talent. The fact that it doesn't cost us is a beauty - the kid might turn out all right - then again...
