Well I for one am glad we didn't have to play them in the past month... They looked far better than us in recent weeks.

And who knows - any season now they might actually win against us. Who cares how they "look"?

I'm reasonably confident that by winning 9 out of the last 11 games against the Filth Collingwood is enjoying a run against them equal to any it has enjoyed since 1903 and better than anything the 'Pies have managed against them since 1950.

I've seen people on here before say that they'll be happy wherever we finish, just so long as we beat Carlton twice. I guess now's the time to put that theory into practice.

^^^"Happy" is, perhaps, a bit of an overstatement but the present streak is definitely one worth celebrating.

PHEW!

Was touch and go there for a while.

Thankfully, the lesser of two evils prevailed.

Off I hop!

Surely there wouldn't be a fan meltdown over that? Fits into the 'honourable defeat' mould. Also, wtf was with that dodgy free that won the Cats the game?

True wokko but they do like to cannabilize there own don't forget. On a separate issue can anyone explain to me now Mackie takes a mark dead on there defensive 50 and Judd ends up 4-5m inside 50 on the mark and ump says nothing.then not 5 minutes later Judd is standing the mark again and you clearly hear the ump on 6 occasions call him back 3m and no penalty.

Good result
Nice to finally have a team who give a shit.
Umpires again
26 frees to 20, your way.
Get [REDACTED]
i flower hate those knee droppping cocksuckers!!
Casboult the odd contested mark but no scoreboard impact; smashed by Harry Taylor at ground level. Docherty kicking off.

Hopefully Thomas isn't a long term issue and is ready for pre season.
That's what you said last year...
what a joke
The afl can go and @#$%&! itself...im done
Bye!
same ol same ol
Yep...
cheats
Takes one to know one.
fucck off back down the highway
Just the one 'c', pleb.
All came down to a shit umpire decision.
1979 called, it wants its irony back!
The Selwood bump of death, diving and cheating.
The ducking and diving.
The spuds like biclavs carrying on like knobs.
Scott umpriring in the box.

The umpires lap it up.
I used to respect this mob, but effing hell they are hard to like now.

Add. Ch 7 fan bois on top and it's almost unwatchable how [REDACTED] this game has become.
We would have stuffed it up anyway but @#$%&! it shits me when some peanut decision like that is made
We would have stuffed it up anyway but @#$%&! it shits me when some peanut decision like that is made
Simon White is not a fwd, amount of times he was the target and got hands to it but bounced off was ridiculous. Either 3rd back or defensive fwd not target
we just lack some real class but least they are having a crack
We would have spudded it up somehow but @#$%&! I'd rather do that than have some useless twit from 50m away call a free kick.
Went too defensive too early. Gave them them a sniff and raped twice in two games against Geelong by disgraceful umpiring decisions at the death. @#$%&! off umpires
we just lack some real class but least they are having a crack
I thought you brought that seagull in #39 in for that exact reason...?
Lather rinse repeat....
I'm not sure.

Yeah those last two dodgy decisions didn't help but our guys seem to get hesitant when it gets close.

That will change.
F@rking well and truly over the "close"ones and freaking umpire incompetence!!!

Geelong were (are) the form team in the league at the moment and we almost beat them with three major injuries and very limited rotations.

The next two weeks can help set up our pre-season and next year as well.......just beat the druggies and the season has not been a bust!!
So near, yet so far, Carlscum.

BigFooty:
Give me an F ... give me a U ... give me C ... give me a .... ah you get the point.
yet another game decided by bs umpiring. ******* joke
Can't remember the last time we played the Cats and weren't screwed over by the umps.
It's just like a horror film on repeat that i cant turn off.
I don't feel as shocked as I should be. Probably because I am used to seeing us getting reamed by the umpires vs Geelong
.
F-ers.
Worse thing is you just expect the blues to lose close ones , thanks umps ! Woeful decision !!
Feeling very cheated and deflated! I guess the worm will turn for the Blues at some point soon. The boys fought it out and were cruelled by having only 19 players and a lousy and unprofessional umpiring decision.
Now I know how Hawthorn felt.

Without the flags of course.
Two things cost us that game.

1. 23rd Geelong player in yellow.

2. Inexperience and lack of composure.

One will sort itself out in time. The other one will continue running around with a whistle.

Grrrr
Not good enough
I'm pretty sure 1 goal decided the game.
I'm pretty sure you lost because you're just crap!
Stop the sooky-la-la routine about the umpires, if we were good enough they wouldn't have been a part of the equation.
Common sense prevails...
Makes me want to vomit watching the Cats players celebrating like they deserved the win, should be ******* embarrassed they needed that much help to win given our injuries.
Ive had a gut full

No plan b

Blah blah Ratten blah Malthouse

Play for the jumper blah blah Daisey

Boyde, Pattern etc etc etc

Am I doing this right?
Blah blah blah blah etc etc
When a decision results in a goal with 2 minutes to go. Then it's fair to say that it did have a massive impact on the result. Did not exactly lose us the game. But went along way in doing so.
Dear Carlton fans,

You lost because you're a crap side, not because the umpires lost you the game. Speaking of bad umpiring do you remember 1979?

How dare you whinge about umpires. I'll only defend your right to whinge if you admit 1979 was highway robbery and you didn't deserve to win that year.

Yours sincerely,

Every Collingwood fan
