This is just the culmination for a Club that still hasn't adapted to a new AFL Competition and has had its head up its own arse for a long long time.

If there was one instance that summed up where we are at, would be early in the final quarter, we have possession on the outer wing, not one forward presented on the lead, so we went sideways, no one presented, then sideways again, no one presented, then sideways again, and simply turned it over.

Sitting the mcc today, and I was getting shit from all the Demons supporters. The loss was hard to stomach, but the fact they were in a position of 'ascendency' was unbearable

I was so disgusted today that for the first time in over 10 years I turned off the TV, and I've watched everything, wins losses.

For some reason the players are shot of all confidence and desire.

This club does not play as a team.

Now I'm not saying what he said is gospel. But this guy sounded seriously hurt & genuinely shattered with how the club is at the moment.

It got me thinking: is it possible that us bringing Daisy in for Eddie has pissed some players off? By no means do I think it is acceptable for players to play poorly because of this, but just looking for an explanation.

In one way you'd like to think today was rock bottom. But, as the club still seems to be completely ignorant to what is happening, I'm not so sure this is rock bottom.

This hurts. Because my club, our club, looks completely broken. You could hear it in Walker's voice on 3AW post game. If I hear them say "but we trained well" one more time I might scream. It's exactly what Melbourne were saying when they were losing by 100+ points under Neeld last year.

Finally to Bruce Mathieson. Take your dirty money & cut all ties from my club. Ringing up 3AW & going on a rant when supporters are hurting is disgraceful. You don't have to be Nostradamus to realise it is the same flaky side as last year with a few tweaks.Confidence is gained from fresh injections of talent and smart recruiting.The amount of games Carlton caved into last year and to front up this year with the same abysmal mentality and intestinal fortitude.
Carlton simply did not work hard enough at the trade table and as mentioned the failure to secure a tall forward was simply mind boggling.
Laidler would have provided a better option in defence,yet we acquire a homesick boy from Qld which indicates mental softness who can"t even get a game ahead of White and Scotland.
