Officially they finished 6th and we 8th. The first time since 2004 that they have finished above us.

I will take that as it is tainted. They finished out of the 8 but got in due to the Essendopers.

It will still be many years before they do it on merit.

Carlton may have finished above us (by default) but they've gifted themselves a harder draw and a lower draft pick than we have, so what's there not to laugh about and in the process they were humiliated on the finals arena and played like a team that finished in 9th spot. The Swans literally played on one leg and still owned them. Also, there moronic supporters will overrate their list again and in the process the planned clean out won't occur after all.

I can't wait for next year when they continue to be mediocre and the fans demand that Mick be sacked immediately! :twisted:

Finishing higher than us despite being a clearly inferior team will ensure they get a harder draw and a shittier pick.
