While this is true, the same can be said for torrents. Most stuff is still fine, it may just take a little longer if a download fails. I have checks in place that ensure downloads that will fail don't start.swoop42 wrote:I've used usenet for years.
Unfortunately though as the article above suggests they are starting to crack down on it.
Look into sabnzbd, along with sick beard and couch potato if you haven't already.

on the third episode of Arrow.
shits all over revenge (I lost interest in that whinny crap about 3 shows in)
lots of hunk regulary on show,
cool action,
hanging out for the last 8 of breaking bad,
walking dead is a bit like the title now, they gotta kill of the bad guy, its getting old!!

And I am really looking forward to The Voice starting - Seal and Ricky - yum yum yum and just the tonic after a day spent working with princesses and fwits

Does anyone actually watch the shows that are on TV, or are they all downloaded? I've been reading about Girls, supposed to be on Showcase but can't see it there, don't even know if it's started yet on TV here?
Also waiting patiently for The Following. And Arrow. I'm not going to watch TV on my computer though.
Have just started watching The Newsroom, like it so far (only 3 epidsodes in)

I have two seasons of arrow on a hard drive someone gave me, perfect quality it no subtitles, but even with my dodgy hearing I can understand it, I could put it on a USB for you. By the way it's brilliant, ill be atthefoorythis week if you want it

Thanks anyway, Mum's birthday this Sunday so won't be at the footy. I'm happy to wait, I think it's starting soon anyway? Looks like a beefed up version of Revenge, with a much more appealing lead character.think positive wrote:I have two seasons of arrow on a hard drive someone gave me, perfect quality it no subtitles, but even with my dodgy hearing I can understand it, I could put it on a USB for you. I had a quick look online but couldn't find it. If all else fails, you can download it from iTunes, or 'elsewhere'. Or get the DVD of season 1 from my shop.luvdids wrote:I've been reading about Girls, supposed to be on Showcase but can't see it there, don't even know if it's started yet on TV here?
Anyway, see it by any means necessary. It's great!

Has anyone been watching (the other) Josh Thomas's ABC series Please Like Me? It's quite enjoyable. He reminds me so much of a female friend in terms of mannerisms and vocal patterns and even a little in terms of looks. It's weird.
