Jack is simply the "bionic man" and since being moved into our midfield against the Lions, has served to only perpetuate what a great player he is.

I often think about what would be if D.Beams never left Collingwood.
I say often, because the thought occurs whenever Crispy plays well.

One thing I would love to see before he retires is All-Australian selection. I believe he was robbed of this a few seasons ago. But if Treloar can get in at age 31, and Zorko at 35, then why not believe?

I've always felt that Jack was our most underrated player and has proven to be a big game player. I know the competition for a spot is wild, but he has deserves AA recognition.

Yes I agree with that.
It will be interesting where he plays in the 'new' team next year. To determine which AA position.

I think Crisp starts the 2025 season on 231 consecutive games out of 249. First game will be his 250milestone

^ Round 1 (or zero if they do that again) with be Jacks 238th consecutive game. The record is 244. And yes it will also be his 250th AFL game and if he plays 19 games in 2025, he'll reach 250 club games too. So there's a bit going on for him.

Crisp played some great first halves of games in 2024. His second half performances were more often than not sporadic cameos and in some of the fade outs last year he was almost unsighted. I dont mind getting him the consecutive games record because he is so close, but if those 2024 sort of performances continue in 2025, his time in the seniors going forward must be regarded as very limited.
